Hertz Rent-A-Car Groundbreaking Event

Last week I got to shoot photos for VisitEstero.com at the Hertz Rent-A-Car Groundbreaking event. Hertz is moving its headquarters from New Jersey to Estero, Florida. The move will create about 700 new jobs in the area which is a pretty big deal for Estero.

I just wanted to share a few of my favorite photos from the event. It was a bit of a gloomy morning but once you got under big giant tent where they were having the event you kind of forgot about how nasty it was outside because of all the smiling faces and refreshments. Tons of delicious food and drinks to be had before and after the event.

There was an abundance of Florida legislature present at the event. Many of them took turns speaking about what sort of positive impact Hertz coming to Estero is going to bring. Governor Rick Scott and State Representative Ray Rodrigues both spoke at the event.

Hertz had four or five different cars on display but the coolest one by far was the black and yellow Mustang.

Executive Vice President, Richard Broome takes the podium.

Governor Scott presented Hertz CEO, Mark P. Fissora with a medal and flag before it was his turn to speak.

Getting ready to break ground.

Governor Scott was all smiles after the event while answering questions from the press and taking pictures.

These were my favorite photos from the event. If you would like to see more you can head to my facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/timmurphyphotography
